Postdoctoral research associate in computational neuroscience, fixed-term, 4-years
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher in computational neuroscience working on models of intrinsically motivated learning. The post is part of a multinational and highly interdisciplinary project IM-CLeVeR - Intrinsically Motivated Cumulative Learning Versatile Robots – funded by the European Union.
One main focus of the work is the development of biologically constrained models of a novel learning task using a joy-stick and computer generated stimuli. The successful applicant will work closely with an experimental psychologist at Sheffield who will be investigating human performance on the new task. This project links to the wider programme of research conducted within the ABRG and the appointee will become part of a large and vibrant team.
The post is for four years with an expected start date of 1st May 2009.
Closing date: 18th March, 2009
